Gateway, crossing the threshold
When there is no turning back
“Every door that closes is a door that opens. But in between there is the threshold to cross.”
There are moments when it becomes impossible not to face the fears hidden deep within. Hours, days, sometimes months, in which one confronts what one used to avoid.
These are phases in which the urgent need arises for a way out of a situation that has become unbearable. One seeks a re-solution, a condition of higher balance.
The confrontation with the unknown is the hinge of this mandala.
Gateway is rupture and solution. It is the unknown and rediscovery. It is separation and birth.
The symbolism
Lotus flowers dominate, the symbol par excellence of beauty, purity and spiritual rebirth.
From the dark green center, flashes of light radiate across yellow-pink spaces, sink into a very dark green, up to orange, blue, indigo.
It is carousel and play, it is struggle, rest and exaltation. It is separation from an unbearable condition, but above all challenge, courage and arrival.
The message
This mandala is a synonym for life. From the moment each of us leaves the mother's womb, through losses and rediscoveries, up to the presence of the Supreme Mystery.
What lies on the other side?
